“I am a mom to three kids. Two of them are adopted and one has been diagnosed with ADHD. Last year our family was struggling a lot and I felt like a failure as a mom. All I ever wanted was to be a mom, but the challenges we were facing made me question whether I should have ever become a mom. I hated the mother I had become. I was yelling at my kids; I was sad that things weren’t as easy as I thought they should be. I was giving in to my kids because I thought it was the easier way to deal with things (that backfired!). I came across Jamie’s parent coaching and knew it was something that could benefit me. I wanted to see the potential in my kids and not just look at the bad. I wanted to enjoy being with them and be a happier family. Jamie started as a coach but ended as my friend. She validated me so well when I would tell her tough truths. She saw my potential as a mother and helped me reach that. She helped me to see my kids as people, and not just little people who wanted to hate me. They had needs and she helped me meet their needs and bring harmony to our home. I was able to see what my kids were really asking for when they had difficult behaviors. She helped me become calmer and to model emotional regulation to my kids. I originally signed up for 6 sessions and she helped me so much, so I signed up for 6 more sessions. After three months I was happier and so were my kids, and I could notice a big difference in our home. I am grateful Jamie was able to help me normalize hard mothering moments and show up for me each week to help me work through challenges. If you’re searching for a more peaceful home and want to be a better mom to your kids, I highly recommend Jamie. I look back and see the transformation that occurred, and I owe it to Jamie for her coaching, knowledge, and kindness. Thanks Jamie! “
“I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to go through a parent coaching program with Jamie. I originally started the program hoping to just gain tools to parent my toddlers better. Looking back, I think I have grown much more than just a set of tools – with Jamie’s help I was able to discover a lot about myself as well. Jamie is patient, encouraging and really helped me work to discover more about myself, which allowed me to apply the tools and principles from the coaching program better. At times, I was skeptical to try some of the tools – but each time I did, I was pleasantly surprised by how my kids received it and in turn allowed me to learn more about my kids and myself. I highly recommend Jamie as a parent coach! Jamie was honestly so great to work – she is relatable and provided a safe space to discuss parenting topics and unpack the material together. I feel so thankful she was able to walk alongside part of my parenting journey and excited for the growth she helped me discover along the way.”
“Jamie has all the tools to help her clients look in their inner world and design the parenting they want to provide for their children. She's caring and understanding; she holds space to be vulnerable and dig deep. Learning and working with Jamie has been the most important work I've ever done. Now, as I continue this journey of parenting I feel endless joy and gratitude for what I've learned and and how I've grown with Jamie's guidance, insight and knowledge.”
